About Us

Lumen Motors Turkey was founded in 2021 with a design and engineering centre in Kozyatağı, Istanbul. Our starting point was simple: electric cars had matured technically, but the ownership experience was still fragmented. The car came from one place, charging from another, software from yet another. We wanted to bring them together in a single experience.

Designed for Turkey

We test our models for Anatolian road, climate and infrastructure conditions: -20 °C winter tests in Erzurum, A/C and battery cooling tests at 45 °C in Antalya, and long climb tests on the Bolu Mountain and Taurus passes. We declare range under the laboratory standard WLTP and also publish realistic range bands for winter and motorway speed scenarios.

Three pillars

• Vehicle: six models, from a city hatchback to a seven-seat large SUV. A standard safety and driver-assistance package on every model.
• Charging: a Wallbox at home, workplace charging solutions and Lumen fast-charging stations of up to 150-200 kW on highways.
• Software: the car improves over time with over-the-air updates; the phone app combines key, climate pre-conditioning and charging management.

Sustainability commitment

The electricity of our service and experience centres is renewable-certified. At end of life, batteries are directed to second-life (stationary energy storage) or recycling channels. We aim to make all our charging stations solar-assisted by 2028.

Lumen in numbers

Since 2021 we have delivered more than 14,000 cars; we operate seven fast-charging stations across four regions of Turkey and offer charging at 3,000+ points through partner networks. In our post-delivery survey, 94% of owners said they recommend Lumen to people around them.
